Resources designed to equip and support group leaders as they lead discipling groups
These resources are a tool for caregivers / group leaders working with BMBs in discipleship groups aimed at providing contextualised content to aid in bringing about meaningful life transformation to BMBs.
Daily personal time with God’s Word and prayer lays the foundation for genuine spiritual growth, self-discipline, and lasting transformation that cannot be replaced by group meetings alone.
In having a daily devotion, you’re encouraged to:
1. Get ready by praying; 2. Select the scripture; 3. Read the portion; 4. Reflect on its original meaning; 5. Discuss its meaning now; 6. Make an application; 7. Memorize; 8. Share with others.
To help Background Muslim Believers (BMBs) grow as disciples of Christ, find their place in the Christian community, and experience steady transformation toward becoming more like Jesus.
Transformative adult learning – a combination of individual daily practice, weekly small-group interaction, and quarterly large-group sharing, designed to move from head knowledge to heart change and obedient action.
It combines devotional reading (personal encounter with God) and systematic study (chapter-by-chapter, portion-by-portion), using questions for reflection, discussion in small and large groups, application, prayer, and homework reading.
Every session ends with clear application questions: What to start doing? What to stop doing? What to continue doing? – often using SMART goals so actions are concrete, measurable, and time-bound.
